Mitsubishi Indonesia has just launched Xpander to play in low-purpose vehicle segment (LMPV). Their courage to play in the most crowded segment in Indonesia was quite successful and successfully scooped up sales.

Recorded since the launch two weeks ago, rivals Honda Mobilio and Suzuki Ertiga has been ordered 11,521 units as of August 24, 2017. The figure is generated from the sale of Xpander from all Mitsubishi dealers in Indonesia. Of course the figure is very remarkable because Mitsubishi Xpander sales target of about 3,000 to 4,000 units per month. While the best-selling variant in these days of launch is the Ultimate variant AT or the highest variant of Xpander.

“We would like to extend our gratitude for the support of Indonesian consumers and media partners to Mitsubishi Xpander, so that this product achieves excellent sales and acceptance from the people of Indonesia. As the official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in Indonesia the delivery of the unit is our main concern and responsibility , “Writes President Director of PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia, Kyoya Kondo, through his official statement.

Seeing this interest, PT MMKSI promises that Xpander unit shipments to consumers starting from October 2017. They also target that all who make reservations will now get their units before the end of 2017.

Even Mitsubishi also plans to keep the public interest against Xpander. Shortly after its first appearance, they immediately held exhibitions in various regions in Indonesia. Starting from Medan to Surabaya was able to witness firsthand the car produced by Mitsubishi factory in Cikarang West Java.
