Commonwealth Bank today launched Tyme Digital, Indonesia’s first onboarding digital banking platform that allows customers to open savings in less than 10 minutes.
Lauren Sulistiawati, President Director of Commonwealth Bank said with the digital machine, the process of opening the savings is done digitally as a whole.
In other words, there is no need to queue up in branch offices, paperless, and the whole process includes registration, verification, ATM card reception to activation of mobile banking and internet banking services.
“Tyme Digital is a pioneer in delivering a whole new way of banking as a whole for customers to meet their financial needs Our digital financial services experience will be completely different because it is much faster and easier, paperless so there is no need to fill out forms,” he said. Tyme Digital launch in FX Sudirman, Jakarta, Wednesday (2/8/2017).
He continued, the platform reinforces Commonwealth Bank’s commitment in supporting increased literacy and financial inclusion.
According to him, one of the obstacles of customers to use banking services is the view that banking activities are quite complicated, rigid and waste time with an average of one hour to fill out forms, photocopying data, waiting for ATM card printing, verification to internet banking and mobile banking activation.
“Through Tyme Digital we want to educate as many people as possible about the importance of utilizing financial services in improving the welfare, in line with our vision to excel at securing and enhancing the financial wellbeing of people, businesses and communities,” he said.
