Jakarta -The verified Facebook page of SpaceX rocket company and electric car maker “Tesla” belonging to Elon Musk disappeared.
Deleting the data, made minutes after the Silicon Valley billionaire promised on Twitter to remove the page when challenged by the user.
SpaceX and Tesla’s Facebook pages, which have millions of followers, are no longer accessible.
“Delete SpaceX page on Facebook if you’re a boy?” so cuitan a user to the leader of Tesla, Musk. “I’ll do it,” replied Musk.
Musk started replying to each other’s messages by responding to the credence of WhatsApp founder Brian Acton in #deletefacebook tag.
The tagar became famous after the world’s largest social network disappointed users with data mismanagement, ending in the hands of Cambridge Analytica – a political consultant working on United States Presidential election Donald Trump in 2016.
“What’s Facebook?” cuit Musk.
Many users also urged the billionaire to delete his company profile in Instagram Facebook photo sharing app.
“Instagram might be fine … as long as it’s kept quite independent,” Musk replied.
“I do not use FB & never will, so do not think I’m sort of a martyr or my company is taking a big blow, and we do not advertise or pay for support, so … I do not care,” Musk added.
Musk has been at odds with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in the past.
Last year, a debate broke out between Musk and Zuckerberg about whether the robot would be smart enough to kill their human creators.
When Zuckerberg was asked about Musk’s view of the dangers of the robot, he replied lightly against it and considered the “doomsday scenario” of Musk “irresponsible.”
In response, Musk whistles: “His knowledge of the subject is limited.”
