Jakarta -Automobile car sales in Thailand’s domestic market posted a 10.2% growth in last month as compared with February 2017 sales.
Thai Automotive Industry Association (TAIA) noted that total vehicle sales in Thailand in February 2018 reached 75,446 units or higher compared to the same period last year, 68,435 units.
The total sales of passenger vehicles last month recorded 34,739 units from 30,206 units compared to the same period last year.
Meanwhile, sales of commercial vehicles from 38,229 units in February 2017 to 40,727 units last month.
Unlike the sales of four-wheeled vehicles, motorcycle sales decreased 3.4% last month compared to the same period of 2017.
In the last month, still in TAIA data, sales of two-wheeler vehicles in the domestic market of Thailand as much as 145,429 units or lower 5,096 units compared to February 2017, ie 150,525 units of motorcycles.
