WhatsApp some time ago scrolled updates on Android for administrators in groups, now those features are trafficked for iOS versions.
The group’s admin can now only be able to send messages to the group, aliasing other users, as reported from the Phone Arena page. This update can be seen in Group Info under the settings for the group.
Other members can read the message and answer it via a private line via the “Message Admin” option.
This is effective for groups who want to give important announcements to their members, such as parent groups and teachers at school, so that all participants read the message.
This setting is not permanent, admins can override these settings in the manner mentioned above.
