Jakarta – Although it has not succeeded in sending representatives in the top 10 “Global 2000 List of the World’s Best Employers” version of Forbes, Indonesia has successfully listed 6 of its companies on the list.
In the list released by Forbes on Wednesday (10/10/2018), the highest position of Indonesian representatives was occupied by PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. which was ranked 11th of the 500 international companies analyzed.
PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. followed by being ranked 32nd, followed by PT Gudang Garam Tbk. in 109th position. Next is PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. ranked 112, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. at position 157, and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. ranked 186
The Asian company that occupies the highest position is CNOOC oil company from Hong Kong, which is ranked 6th. From Southeast Asia, Kasikornbank from Thailand, which ranked 8th, was the representative in the top 10 list.
Meanwhile, the highest representative from Japan, the Japan Exchange Group, ranked 12th. Alibaba was only able to rank 332.
In general, Alphabet maintains the title as a company with the best work environment. With more than 80,000 employees worldwide, women get a 25.5% share in important company positions.
This technology company also continued to record an increase in the number of Latin and black-blooded employees.
In this study, employees were asked to rate the company where they worked and whether they would recommend the company to their friends or family. They are also asked to recommend other companies that are considered to have a good track record and work environment.
This research received recommendations of 430,000 companies from all over the world. The survey emphasized whether the company has a friendly work environment and as large as the diversity of employees in the company.
