JAKARTA – Airline AirAsia launched direct flights connecting Manila to Jakarta and Bali to strengthen connectivity among countries in Southeast Asia.
AirAsia Group CEO in Indonesia, Dendy Kurniawan said AirAsia believes the potential of Southeast Asian countries. Therefore it is happy to strengthen the network by connecting more destinations within the region.
According to him, the presence of daily flight routes allows anyone to explore Manila as one of the tourist destinations and business in Southeast Asia.
“These two destinations are very instrumental in driving the wheels of the Indonesian economy, can be a driver of increasing the flow of foreign tourists to the homeland,” said Dendy through a press release on Friday (27/10/2017).
The airline tickets can be booked with promotional rates ranging from Rp890,000 for flights to Manila from Jakarta from 9 January 2018 to 24 March 2018, and from Rp990,000 for flights from Bali from 19 January to 24 March 2018.
This promotion is only available until November 6, 2017 and can be obtained through airasia.com, mobile apps or AirAsia ticket sales offices.
AirAsia flights to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) Manila, from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK) Jakarta and I Gusti Ngurah Rai (DPS) Bali Airport are scheduled daily starting January 2018 and served by AirAsia Philippines Z2 flight code using Airbus A320 -200 capacity of 180 passengers.
For information, Manila is the center of Philippine economic and administrative activity with a population of 12 million people who store historical stories, cities with a variety of attractions, unique culinary, as well as an interesting shopping center to visit.
