Motorola officially released a new Android smartphone, Moto Z2 Play, in the Indonesian market. The launch event was held in front of a number of media and bloggers in Ubud, Bali on Wednesday.
Country Lead Lenovo Indonesia Smartphone Adrie R. Suhadi says, Moto Z2 Play is different from other mainstream smartphones on the market today. Moto Z2 Play as a premium flagship.
“From the quality of the material, the camera design and flash together, and also the modular features that become our mainstay,” said Adrie at the show Moto Z2 Play Day in Ubud, Bali.
Motorola’s modular strategy, admitted Adrie, can be accepted by the public. Going forward, Motorola will release a modular accessory series of other mods for the Moto Z line.
In Indonesia, Moto Z2 Play for sale at Rp 6,499 million. Compared with its first generation device, Moto Z Play, the price of Moto Z2 Play is slightly more expensive. Currently, Moto Z Play is sold for Rp 5 million.
Meanwhile, Moto Z2 Play has a slightly cheaper price than Moto Z, Motorola’s top flagship currently in Indonesia. Currently, Moto Z is sold at Rp 7.1 million in the market.
Moto Z2 Play offers a number of updates, such as a thinner and lighter body. The specification consists of a 622 octa-core Snapdragon 2.2 GHz Snapdragon, 4 GB larger RAM, and 12 MP sensor on the back, and 5 MP for selfie.
