Jakarta – Manufacturers of US power storage devices, Anker, launched intelligent speakers.
This mini-sized device called Zolo adopts Google’s voice control technology, Google Assistant.
Anker Sales Representative Indonesia Shintawaty Lee said this is not the first time Anker launched a loudspeaker product with Bluetooth connection.
“This is the first product using sound technology. In this case we are working with Google as a provider of technology, “he said as quoted from press information on Sunday (18/3/2018).
Zolo teamed with Google to embed Google assistant technology, a voice control technology capable of recognizing more than dozens of international languages including Indonesian.
With Google assistant technology, Zolo can be turned on and off only by voice or even selecting a playlist that is on the music player on the phone.
Zolo will light up when you hear the phrase “Ok Google” as the standard voice command embedded in it. Automatically the voice recognizer will detect the sentence and automatically the device will turn on.
Previously, speaker users had to download google home app contained in Google’s playstore app market and also iOS’s Appstore.
In addition to the voice controller this device also has touch screen technology on its control panel located on the top of this device.
Mini speakers are equipped with some wireless connectivity that is Bluetooth and Wi-Fi that can connect with smart phones maupin other music player.
In addition to wireless facilities, Zolo can also be connected with a music player with cable through Auxiliary-Input plugs as an alternative.
Unfortunately, a tiny product with a diameter of 6.3 cm and a height of 9.3 cm and a weight of 312 grams is not equipped by the battery as a power source so this product will only power up with the power supply of the default adapter.
Speakers valued at Rp2 million can be hunted by Indonesian consumers through the online market and conventional retail market starting next month.
