CIREBON – BMW Group Indonesia promises to bring a surprise at Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2018. In addition to launching Series 5 Touring, the German automaker also carries other weapons.
BMW Group Indonesia Vice President of Corporate Communications Jodie O’tania said the 5 Series Touring is a company effort to return to play in the long-abandoned segment of the estate.
“From February was open pivot. It will officially be launched in motor show [IIMS 2018], so just wait, “Jodie said on the sidelines of BMW Driving Experience event – Conquering 5 Cities with BMW 5 Series, Cirebon, Monday (12/3/2018).
IIMS 2018 will be held on 19-29 April. Series 5 Touring version that has stepped on the tenth generation will be first marketed in Indonesia.
Jodie says there are already consumers who order 530i Touring M Sport. But he did not mention the amount. “All features of Series 5 are owned by the Touring version plus the advantages of cabin and baggage dimensions,” he said.
Meanwhile 530i Touring M Sport will carry 2.0 L gasoline engine, similar to the other 5 Series. This engine produces 184 hp power and maximum torque of 290 Nm with 124 g / Km carbon emissions. This car is priced at the top of another 530i variant, which is Rp1429 billion off the road.
BMW Indonesia will import completely or completely built up (CBU) this model from Germany. The company does not have local assembly plans such as his siblings, 520i and 530i.
