Directorate General of Oil and Gas Delete Issuing SKP BBM

JAKARTA – With the issuance of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 13 of 2018, the issuance of Certificate of Distributors (SKP) of BBM, BBG, and LPG was abolished, based on information from the Directorate General of Oil and Gas (oil and gas).

This is in line with the efforts of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to continue to simplify regulations and licensing for the ease of investing in Indonesia.

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has issued Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 13 of 2018 on Oil Fuel Disbursement (BBM), Gas Fuel (BBG), and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), based on data collected Between in Jakarta, Thursday (15/3/2018).

According to the Director of Oil and Gas Downstream Business Development at the Directorate General of Oil and Gas Harya Adityawarman, the company is only obliged to report the appointment of distributors to the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (BU NU).

“According to this Regulation, SKP BBM, BBG and LPG shall be deleted BU NU shall report the appointment of the distributor to the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources through the Directorate General of Oil and Gas and BPH Migas every month, then the Directorate General of Oil and Gas will follow up the report by recording and the Distributor List will be published on the website Directorate General of Oil and Gas, “Harya said on Socialization of ESDM Regulation no. 13 of 2018.

In addition, Harya added, the regulation also stipulates that the dealer appointed by BU Niaga Migas can distribute BBM, BBG and LPG after a cooperation agreement with BU Holders of Commercial Business License (PIUNU) of Oil and Gas.

In ESDM Ministerial Regulation no. 13/2018 it is also stipulated that for the Distribution of Specific Type Fuel and / or Type of Assignment, the assigned BU PIUNU shall appoint a supplier who provides facilities and facilities in the assignment area. Distributors are also required to provide BBM JBT / JBKP on defined subpliers, while sub-series arrangements are conducted by BPH Migas.
