Jakarta -The government continues to educate on the knowledge of industrial relations to the community. One of the socialization targets is among students.
“Students should understand their rights and obligations when they enter the workforce,” said employment minister Hanif Dhakiri in an official statement on Saturday (5/5/2018).
He continued this kind of activity has been done by the Ministry of Manpower for 3 years in 32 provinces in Indonesia involving 5,000 students.
Hanif hopes that industrial relations problems can be accommodated into the education curriculum. For example, through job interview techniques that are needed by the workforce.
He also stressed that the world is changing so rapidly that potential workers must be able to adapt.
“The character of the work is changing and the demands of the skills are also changing,” he said.
On the other hand, the National Awakening Party (PKB) politician also appealed to the students to continue to be creative. Because 65% of future jobs are included in the creative industry sector.
