Rules–
- wear a sarong or sash and cover shoulder and legs properly while visting the temple it is considered to show respect to the temple.
2.taking photos inside the temple is prohibited.
- do not step over canang sari that are left on grounds often it is belived to appese spirits.
History– the temple is believed to be a protector from evil sea spirits. Said to be established by MPU kunturan who is majapahit monk who build various other temples as well.

 Special features– most tourist visit this temple during sunset as it is considered as  one of the best sunset spot in bali. Situated in southernmost tip of bali. 25 kms from kuta approximately requires 1 hour travel from there. kecak dance is performed and tourist visit here from all around the world to explore Balinese traditional architectural temple, history behind it and beautiful views for photo click. 1-2 hours duration requires to see the major temple areas.
