KPK Secures 7 People In OTT in Tangerang

JAKARTA – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) secures seven people in Operation Capture Hand (OTT) in Tangerang.

Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) spokesman Febri Diansyah said the seven people who were secured consisted of judges, clerks, legal counsel, and private parties.

“Also secured some money in this operation,” he said on Monday (12/3/2018).

Febri stated in the OTT this time, KPK is working with Supreme Court (MA) internal supervisor as happened in OTT in Bengkulu and South Jakarta.

“They are allegedly involved in the bribery effort related to civil cases,” he added.

Spokesman MA Suhadi previously confirmed that there are elements of the staff of the District Court (PN) Tangerang who also netted in OTT. However, he does not yet know precisely the role of the elements of the judiciary and the amount of money given.

According to Suhadi, one of the clerks in Tangerang’s netted PN was named Tuti. He was arrested with a man who allegedly gave a gift.
