North Sumatra Earthquake Shakes Early Sunday

JAKARTA – An M-magnitude 5.1 earthquake occurred in the North Sulawesi region.

The Climatology and Geophysics Meteorology Agency said the earthquake occurred in the Ratahan Mitra area, Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi.

The earthquake in the scale 5 bag was called SMKG not having a potential tsunami.

BMKG said the center of the North Sulawesi earthquake was on the seabed.

The location of the earthquake was at the coordinates of 0.38 North Latitude (LU), 125.57 East Longitude (BT).

The epicenter was at sea, 113 kilometers to the southeast, Ratajan Mitra, with a depth of 10 kilometers.

Until this information was revealed, there was no further information regarding the loss of life or material losses arising from the impact of the earthquake.
