PERFORMANCE 2017: Champion Pacific’s Net Profit (IGAR) Up 11.2%

Jakarta -Plastic packaging industry issuer, PT Champion Pacific Indonesia Tbk. booked a current year’s profit attributable to owners of the parent entity valued at Rp52.01 billion, up 11.2% year-on-year.

Although net sales of Champion Pacific Indonesia decreased up to 3.8% annually to Rp761.92 billion in 2017, from Rp792.79 billion in 2016.

Meanwhile, net sales owned by plastic issuers for the pharmaceutical segment valued at Rp659.63 billion and non-pharmaceuticals valued at Rp102.29 billion. The net sales to the pharmaceutical segment grew 3.95% on an annual basis in 2017, and non-pharmaceuticals down 35% throughout 2017.

In its 2017 financial statements released on Tuesday (27/3/2018), the value of assets posted at Rp513.02 billion. The assets of listed issuers of IGAR stocks per 2017 consist of liabilities worth Rp71.07 billion and equity valued at Rp441.94 billion.

At the close of trading Tuesday (27/3/2018), IGAR stocks were green, up 10 points or 2.51% to Rp408 per share. Throughout this year, IGAR shares have climbed 7.94%. When compared in the last 3 years, IGAR shares have risen 27.5%.

This plastic issuer has a market capitalization of Rp396.66 billion. Currently, the price per earning (PER) of IGAR reaches 7.5 times. On the other hand, IGAR has several subsidiaries namely PT Avesta Continental Pack yag located in Bekasi and PT Indogravure in Tangerang.
