SCB Indonesia Not Worrying Political Year

Jakarta -Standard Chartered Bank Indonesia aims to grow its wealth management business this year by 20%.

Executive Director and Head of Wealth Management of SCB Indonesia Bambang Simarmo said that his side is optimistic that the target can be achieved. One of the things that drives the banks confidence in the performance of the wealth management business is the development of the stock market.

“If we look at the realization from 2016 to 2017, the growth is very good compared to previous years affected by stock market factors. We are optimistic 2018 to 2019 as well, “he said, in Jakarta, Tuesday (20/3/2018).

Economic conditions this year, added Bambang, somewhat conducive as well as the political stage. Nevertheless, Standard Chartered Bank Indonesia is aware of some people who are worried about considering 2018 began to enter the political year.
