This is Reason Minister Rini Promote Garuda Indonesia and Citilink

Jakarta -Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Rini M. Soermarno asks all parties to use the services provided by PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. and subsidiaries, PT Citilink Indonesia.

Rini said this is in line with his expectation that all State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) can make a profit this year. The reason, there are still 12 red-plate companies that lost in 2017.

“My promotion, especially for Garuda Indonesia and Citilink, all have to go up,” he said in Jakarta, Sunday (25/3/2018).

On the other hand, Rini explained that the comprehensive profit recorded by state-owned companies reached Rp183 trillion in 2017. The amount is up 10% compared with the previous period.

He said the number of losing SOEs has been reduced from 24 in 2014 to 12 in 2017. Therefore, it expects all red-plate corporations to book profits this year.

The steps taken, he continued, namely by synergizing SOEs in various aspects. One example is synergy in logistics and procurement.

“We will coordinate the best price which one,” he explained.
