Jakarta -PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk. (WTON) has realized 82.14% of the target of the new IDR 7.56 trillion contract targeted in 2018.
The Corporate Secretary of Wijaya Karya Beton, Yuherni Sisdwi, revealed that the company received additional new contracts in January 2018 – November 2018. At least, there were 11 contracts with the largest value obtained by the company during that period.
In detail, eleven new contracts with the largest value were obtained by the company up to November 2018 namely the Jakarta-Bandung Fast Train Rp803.61 billion, Kijing Mempawah Pier Rp.430.56 billion, Kunciran Toll Road – Cengkareng Rp.261.49 billion, KBunda Marunda Pier Rp.226.68 billion, MBK Package IDR 174.69 billion, and Ijo Kebuman River Estuary Development IDR 115.59 billion.
Furthermore, the issuer with the WTON stock code obtained a new contract from Balikpapan Samarinda toll road of IDR 105.36 billion, Tambak Lorok PLTGU of IDR 103.24 billion, Golf Island 2018 IDR 102.03 billion, Tangguh Expansion of Batch 5 Project IDR 92.37 billion, and Sungai Tondano Bridge, Manado-Bitung Toll Loan Rp. 89.78 billion.
In total, Yuherni said the new contract pocketed by the company was IDR 6.21 trillion during January 2018 – November 2018. Thus, this realization is equivalent to 82.14% of the target set this year. “This year’s target is IDR 7.56 trillion and management is optimistic can be achieved, “he told Business on Thursday (12/07/2018).
For the remainder of this year’s contract target, he said the company was targeting the existing project. Because, orders made by customers are not at once in large quantities. “Some are lowered in gradual numbers,” he added.
Yuherni added projects with small value but in large quantities contributed to the realization of the company’s new contract. The work came from various sources including the Regional and Private Governments.
In addition, he continued, the company has a number of large-value projects that will enter next year. Some of these jobs include the Refinery Development Master Plan in Balikpapan, Elevated Railway Jabodetabek, and Patimban Port
