World Premiere at GIMS 2018, Here is Skoda Kodiaq Highest Caste SUV

JAKARTA – Skoda Auto, a car manufacturer from Rebublik Czech, carries three world premiere models to the Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) 2018. One of them is Kodiaq Laurin & Klement.

Skoda Kodiaq Laurin & Klement (L & K) is the highest-caste variant in the Kodiaq family of sport utility vehicles. Skoda Kodiaq L & K 2018 model comes with an SUV that offers space flexibility with elegant touch.

It comes with 19 inch Sirius wheels, LED lights, grille with vertical slats and chrome trim as standard. The front-wheel arm featured a badge with Laurin & Klement’s inscription.

The interior features are enhanced with a three spoke leather multifunction steering wheel, optionally available with black or beige leather trim.

The smooth Laurin & Klement logo can be found in the chair and also on the instrument panel trim pieces, which are equipped with black piano lacquer accents. Logos can also be viewed in the home screen infotainment system.

Standard equipment also includes electrically adjustable driver seats including memory functions, door frames, containing Kodiaq model logos, aluminum pedals, textile floor mats, rain sensor, automatic swivel mirror, ambient lighting and the Canton sound system.

MACHINE

The launch of Skoda Kodiaq L & K brings with it a whole new line of machines. The range now includes a 1.5 liter TSI engine that produces 110 kW (150 hp), and 2.0 TSI engine output has increased from 132 kW (180 hp) to 140 kW (190 hp).

New gasoline drivetrains are equipped with particulate filters to reduce particulate emissions. It will be available for all versions of equipment from Skoda Kodiaq in the future.

The latest generation gasoline engine DSG 7-acceleration and 2.0 TDI engine with 110 kW (150 hp) also made its debut. Other 2.0 TDI drives with 140 kW (190 hp) complete the lineup. The two strongest engines are equipped with 4 × 4 drives as standard and available as an option for the other two.

The all-wheel-drive variant of Skoda Kodiaq L & K also features a DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control) adaptive chassis control as an option.
